Models are now open at The Palisades at Broadmoor Park, a new senior lifestyle community in southwestern Colorado Springs.
    
The Palisades is the result of a partnership between the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and Dunn & Associates, a local real estate development company.
    
The Palisades combines luxury apartments, amenities and services with UCCS’s expertise in gerontology, nursing and health sciences. Ground was broken on the project in July 2006, and it is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2008.
    
When finished, The Palisades will include 110 apartments, and it will offer independent and assisted-living facilities. Residents can choose from seven independent-living floor plans and four assisted-living plans.
    
The community is located at South Academy Boulevard and Broadmoor Bluffs Drive. To schedule an appointment to see one of the new models, call 226-CARE.
