How many apartment homes are there per floor?
The Independent Living building will have 3 floors with 11 homes on the 1st floor,
and 14 on the 2nd and 3rd floors
           
The Assisted Living building will also have 3 floors with 19 homes on the memory
wing located on the 1st floor, 22 units on the 2nd floor, and 23 on the 3rd.

Are the units soundproof?
There is insulation and a sound deadening concrete laid between each floor in addition to matting under any hardwood floors to mute noise from above and below (such as walking above). The walls between units are built as two separate, insulated walls to dampen sound from neighboring units.

Do I have to use the on-site health clinic? I like my current doctor; how would the Palisades clinic benefit me?
The clinic on-site is there for your convenience, but you are not required to utilize
it. You are more than welcome to continue receiving healthcare from your current
local provider. We would also be happy to coordinate with your primary healthcare provider to maintain maximum communication with regard to your healthcare lab.

Who are the nurse practitioners and how might they help me?
The nurse practitioners are affiliated with the Beth El School of Nursing through
UCCS.

How do the guest room arrangements work?
There will be one suite available for your guests to reserve. Reservations will be
scheduled prior to the visit and will be on a first-come/first-
serve basis among all of the residents.

Where will I be able to park my car?
The Palisades will provide valet service to all of our residents with cars being
parked on site in the Palisades parking lot. This will save you the hassle and
inconvenience of walking to your car, waiting for it to cool down in the summer
or warm up in the winter. And you will no longer have to worry about scraping ice from your windshield!

How can I access my car without bothering anyone?
You are always more than welcome to retrieve your car on your own if necessary.
Also, we will provide a short-term parking area near the front doors for times
when need to run inside for a quick stop, to unload groceries, or between errands.

Will I be provided with assistance in downsizing my current home before moving to Palisades?
We have move in assistance, as well as right sizing classes and strategies.

Will I own my apartment?
No, the monthly fee will include rent for your apartment, which is on a month-to-month basis. In other words, should you decide to leave the Palisades at any time, for any reason, you are not committed to remain for an extended period of time as with a yearly lease.
