The Palisades at Broadmoor Park offers assisted living in Colorado Springs with a variety of services and programs. In The Palisades’ three-story Assisted Living building, our goal is to enable our residents to maintain their valued independence and dignity through services precisely tailored to meet their individual needs. One way we are doing this is our unique partnership with the University of Colorado — Colorado Springs (UCCS) Center on Aging to provide health and wellness programs for our residents.

As we strive to enrich our residents’ daily lives, we will continue to develop innovative programs that meet our residents’ diverse health care requirements. This approach allows residents and their families, along with our highly trained staff, to determine the amount of assistance received. Residents pay for only those services they require.

Live Safely

• Each floor has wheelchair ramp egress in case a fire drill shuts down the elevators. This feature does not exist in any other multi-level assisted living building in Colorado Springs.
  
• Each apartment has direct communication with The Palisades’ around the clock staff (Ask about our lavaliere option)
• Entry off central hallways accessed by elevators

Health and Wellness

• Full-time Registered Nurse on staff
• Health Clinic staffed by certified Nurse Practioners from UCCS's Beth-El College of Nursing
  
• UCCS's Gerontology Center will also have an office on-site
• Students enrolled in UCCS’s Gerontology undergraduate or graduate programs will be offered the opportunity to live and work at The Palidades, providing invaluable services

Dining

• Three meals served daily in the dining rooms on each floor for residents’ ease and intimacy
• Certified dieticians carefully supervise each resident’s dietary needs
• Each apartment has a microwave and refrigerator so residents can keep their favorite snacks

Standard Packages of Service

• Weekly housekeeping with bathrooms cleaned more frequently, as needed
• Towel and flat linen services weekly; personal laundry can be done for an additional cost
• Regular health and wellness programs
• Daily medical reminders are either free or with a small service charge depending on frequency
