What is included in my rent?
The Palisades represents a new approach to Senior Living. There are no front-end fees—just simple, monthly, all-inclusive apartment rentals. Depending upon the community chosen (Independent, Assisted, or Memory Care), the monthly rent will include:

Your own private, single-occupancy apartment with luxury amenities such as crown moulding, 9' ceilings, granite countertops, and much more
Daily meals prepared by our executive chef
All utilities (gas, electric, water)
Local telephone plus 30 minutes long distance per month
Extended cable including 80+ channels and high-speed internet
Scheduled transportation to doctor appointments within a 7 mile radius
On-site parking
Weekly linen change (Independent apartments have own washer & dryer)
Weekly housekeeping
24-hour staffing
Portable emergency call systems and cameras
Multiple exercise areas—TechnoGym® equipment and Indoor Saline Pool

Will I own my apartment?
No, the monthly fee will include rent for your apartment, which is on a month-to-month basis. In other words, should you decide to leave The Palisades at any time, for any reason, you are not committed to remain for an extended period of time as with a yearly lease.

Do I have to use the on-site health clinic? I like my current doctor; how would The Palisades clinic benefit me?
The clinic on-site is there for your convenience, but you are not required to utilize it. You are more than welcome to continue receiving healthcare from your current local provider. We would also be happy to coordinate with your primary healthcare provider to maintain maximum communication with regard to your healthcare lab.

Who are the nurse practitioners and how might they help me?
The nurse practitioners are affiliated with the Beth-El College of Nursing through UCCS. They provide individualized health monitoring, plus health and wellness classes.

Where will I be able to park my car?
The Palisades provides on-site parking and valet service upon request.

Will I be provided with assistance in downsizing my current home before moving to Palisades?
We have move-in assistance, as well as right-sizing classes and strategies.

How do the guest room arrangements work?
There is one suite available for your guests to reserve. Reservations will be scheduled prior to the visit and will be on a first-come/first- serve basis among all of the residents.

Are the units soundproof?
There is insulation and a sound deadening concrete layer between each floor in addition to matting under any hardwood floors to mute noise from above and below. The walls between units are built as separate, insulated walls to dampen sound from neighboring units.
