Nathan Carpenter
Nathan is a Colorado native originally from Greeley, CO. After graduating high school he joined the United States Marine Corps and lived in San Clemente, CA. He later graduated from Mortuary College in San Francisco and moved to San Diego where he worked and went to school again, this time for Ceramic Arts. Wanting to be near his family, he moved back to Colorado, this time living in Manitou Springs where he still resides. In addition to being a Mortician and Marine, Nathan has also been a hunting and fishing guide in Alaska, lumberjack, Deputy Coroner and vagabond. Nathan is currently an Intake Clinician in our Aspen Wellness Center Clinic, Activities Coordinator for our Independent Living residents, and software developer. Since Nathan has been working on activities here at the Palisades we've won Best Activities Program two years in a row from the Showcase of Retirement Homes. Nathan will eventually be a Physician Assistant specializing in Geriatrics and is currently a senior at UCCS working towards his Major in Human Biology and Minor in Gerontology. In his free time he enjoys anything related to the outdoors and traveling to new areas.
