Molly Maxfield, Ph.D.
Molly Maxfield, Ph.D. joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2009. She teaches graduate courses in cognitive and personality assessment and conducts research within the area of social cognition and aging. Her specific areas of interest include the ways in which older adults' cognitive status impacts their social decision-making and coping styles. She is also interested in the use of assessment data to optimize daily functioning and psychological well-being. She is excited to join in the UCCS-Palisades collaboration and, along with graduate students, will conduct annual Memory Checks for interested residents.
Dr. Maxfield grew up in Ohio and earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2010. After completing an internship focused on neuropsychological assessment at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, she was happy to return to Colorado Springs. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, reading, fiber arts collaborations with friends, and hiking
