Memory Care

Jenna Fariss

< Back

Jenna Fariss is the Memory Care Coordinator in our beautiful Memory Care Unit. She grew up all over the United States because her father was in the Army. She has called Colorado Springs her home for several years. After graduating from Cheyenne Mountain High School, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Community Health at The University of Northern Colorado. She was an active member in Sigma Kappa Sorority whose philanthropies are Gerontology and The Alzheimer's Association. During that time of volunteering at several nursing homes throughout the years, she discovered her passion and love for people with Alzheimer's and dementia. She continued her formal education earning a professional advancement certificate in gerontology from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Jenna plays many roles in our Memory Care unit, but her favorite thing to do is provide a fun, happy environment for our residents to live and enjoy.

Jenna loves Colorado. She enjoys the outdoors and doing activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, and going to the pool. Family is the most important thing to her which is why she loves living in Colorado Springs. She and her husband, Mike, welcomed their first baby girl, Brooklee, into the world in November 2010.

Jenna loves working at The Palisades and thinks the quote by Confucius is very fitting for her position, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life."
