Program Details
In collaboration with the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs’ Gerontology department and the Beth-El College of Nursing, The Palisades At Broadmoor Park has broken the mold of the typical Assisted Living Community and brought it into the 21st century.
Wellness
- Regular physical activity programs provided to promote independence and strength designed by Health Science and wellness faculty and students at UCCS
- Water therapy available in a saline-based pool
- Beth-El Certified Nurse Practitioners conveniently located on-site
- Assessment, consultation, and treatment for acute health conditions as well as chronic disease management at the on-site clinic
- Extensive time allotted for appointments with the nurse

- Confidential personal health records are maintained for continuity of care and to track weight, strength, balance, etc.
- Senior Fitness Specialist to develop an individualized program to maintain and enhance physical functions
- Regularly scheduled assessments of cognitive and physical health to maintain optimum independence and support
